competitive TEAM Placements

     To join the competitive stream for the 2026-27 season, athletes ages 4-18 will attend a team placement based on their current skill level and will be placed on a competitive team with VCC. We can guarantee that we will find a place for all athletes that are 18 and under. To learn more about team placements, see the placement criteria below. Registration is required for team placements using the form linked below.

Worlds Team Tryouts

 Worlds tryouts are for athletes looking to take their competitive experience to the next level. Our Worlds teams are complete with a roster of fully dedicated athletes who have Levels 5-7 skills, years of competitive experience, and are ready to be challenged to compete on the World Championship stage in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Placement criteria:

    We are committed to providing the ideal environment for every type of athlete, no matter their skill level, experience, or ability. To achieve this, we will place athletes on their respective teams based on criteria such as, but not limited to:
  • Age / Maturity
  • Stunting Ability
  • Tumbling ability
  • Experience in cheer
  • Physical strength and flexibillity
  • Commitment level

Placement dates: 

All placement times will be between 5:00pm - 9:00pm and emailed out by July 25, 2026
  • Prep/Level 1 athletes - August 12, 2026
  • Level 2 athletes - August 13, 2026
  • Level 3 athletes - August 5, 2026
  • Level 4+ athletes & Worlds Tryouts - August 6, 2026
    • Worlds Tryouts will be from 5:30pm - 8:00pm.

Pom cheer placements:

  • Birth years 2022-2014 - August 7, 2026 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Birth years 2015-2010 - August 7, 2026 - 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Alternative placement dates:

If you're unable to attend your level placement above, you may register for one of our alternate placement dates:
  • July 30, 2026 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm 
  • August 17, 2026 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm

*Please note: Recreational Cheer and U6 Tiny Novice registrants do NOT require a placement class.
