Placements and Worlds Team Tryouts
Placements and Worlds team tryouts will be separated again this season. Athletes ages 4-18 will attend a placement date (see below) and will be placed on a competitive team with VCC. We can guarantee a spot on a team for any athlete 18 and under that attends. Worlds tryouts are for older athletes looking to take their competitive experience to the next level. Our Worlds teams are complete with a roster of fully dedicated athletes that have at-level skills (Levels 5-7) and are ready to be challenged to compete on the World Championship stage.
Placement criteria
We are committed to providing the ideal environment for every type of athlete, no matter their skill level, experience, or ability. To achieve this, we will place athletes on their respective teams based on criteria such as, but not limited to:
Age / Maturity
Stunting Ability (high priority)
Tumbling ability
Experience in cheer
Commitment level
Placement dates will be as followed:
Prep and Level 1 athletes - August 6, 2025
Level 2 athletes - August 7, 2025
Level 3 athletes - August 12, 2025
Level 4+ athletes (non-Worlds) - August 13, 2025
**All placement times will be between 5:00pm - 9:00pm and emailed out by July 25, 2025**
Alternative placement dates are:
July 28, 2025 5:30pm to 7:00pm
August 20, 2025 5:30pm to 7:00pm
*Please note: Recreational Cheer and Tiny Novice registrants do NOT require a placement class!
